Facebook has been always been in the news for some or the other privacy issues which really concerns a lot of users, Facebook recently went passed the 500 million user line.
This time its really bad stuff that has happened.
Information of over 100 million user is now available as a torrent download on thepiratebay.org. The torrent was uploaded yesterday (28/7/2010) on PirateBay by the username phatwarez.
Now all this stuff was posted by an Online Security consultant named Ron Bowes

Now on a personal note I would say stuff like this was bound to happen sooner or later, I mean anyone can already find you on Google Search if you have a unique name. The details available in the download are the details which are already available on search engines and facebook publicly.
But the big deal here is now even if you set your profile to not searchable or completely private then too anybody can find information about you through this directory i.e. if you unfortunately feature on it.
